Nails Only
No appointment required between 9.00 am and 2.00 pm. This involves clipping nails including dew claws and takes approximately 5 – 10 minutes, often with the assistance of the owner. In between regular grooms this service is free. Otherwise the Price is $20.00.
Face and Feet Tidy
No appointment required between 9.00 am and 2.00 pm. Usually a scissor trim around face, ears and paws to the owner’s requirements. In between regular grooms this service is free. Otherwise the Price is $25.00.
Definition of Dogs Sizes
The grooming “effort” is primarily driven by size and/or whether or not the breed is single or double coated. Setting a price by breed is not feasible when the proliferation of cross breeding is taken into account. For example, Spoodles are popular but can range in size from quite small to gun dog size, and can be either single or double coated depending on the dominant parent breed.
Accordingly, Laundromutt’s pricing is size driven regardless of breed.

Wash and Dry
Appointment required. A quick and convenient way to clean up after a trip to the beach or a roll in the mud. Includes a hygienic clip of the groin and bottom if needed.

Full Groom
Appointment required. Laundromutt’s full grooming service involves a brush out, including removal of matted or loose coat, washing with appropriate shampoo (and conditioner if required), checking anal glands, dry, nails clipped, trim pads, plucking ears if required, then groomed to the owner’s requirements. Subject to the conditions set out below, Prices are:

Mini Groom
Appointment required. This is a quick groom between full grooms for small dogs only involving a brushing out, wash and dry, face and feet tidy and nail trim. Subject to the Condition set out below the price is $55.00.
Groom Conditions:
- Hand stripping of certain breeds is 50% extra;
- Matts will be removed by clipping so as to minimize what would otherwise be a painful process for your pet. Often a clip of the affected matted area may then require a full body clip to achieve an acceptable blend;
- An additional $5.00 is levied on the first visit as an administration charge. All groom prices are subject to a maximum return period of tree months.
- Pets presented with matting and excessive tangles requiring de-matting and de-tangling/brushing will incur an addition fee of $20.
- Laundromutt will not do successive mini grooms.
- Irrespective of size puppies to 6 months of age will be 50% of the Small Dog rate;
- Prices by arrangement for return frequencies of 1 month or less, multiple pets, or for smooth coated Toy dogs as defined/listed in the Dogs New Zealand Official Breed Standards.
What’s Not Included
Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog or cat is regularly treated for fleas. If your pet arrives at Laundromutt with a flea infestation then our crate bedding and floor surfaces will need to be treated for the welfare of other customers’ pets. The cost of doing this is 50% of the Full Groom Price. We will advise you immediately to similarly sanitize your home areas as there is not much point in Laundromutt providing flea treatment and then having your pet re-infected when it returns home.
Late Pick Up
Laundromutt is not equipped for day care. A late pick up fee may be applied if your pet is left with us more than 30 minutes after advice of completion.
Important Note
The price for grooming your pet at Laundromutt is all inclusive.
